The PTR Charity Poker Tournament
Join us on Saturday, August 22nd for our inaugural Proud To Rescue Charity Poker Tournament at South Point Hotel & Casino.
This is a great event for a great cause and we look forward to seeing you there to help us continue to contribute across our community. Here are the tournament details:
- Date: August 22, 2026
- Location: South Point Hotel and Casino Poker Room
- Registration: 5:30 pm
- Tournament Starts: 6:30 pm
- Prize Pool: $15,000 guarantee
- Buy in: $200 for 10,000 in chips
- Re-Buys/Buy-backs: $100 for 10,000 chips
- Add On: $100 for 10,000 chips
15 minute levels. Re-buys available through registration, add-on one time at the end of registration.

The 5th Annual Fire Classic
Our annual Fire Classic took place Tuesday, April 21, 2026. at Angel Park in Summerlin.
Thanks to your help and the generosity of all involved, were able to raise thousands of dollars from businesses across the Valley to help support firefighters and their families in times of hardship.

Proud To Rescue Benevolent Fund
The Proud to Rescue Benevolent Fund is our 501(c)(3) that provides charitable assistance to disabled and retired Local 1908 members, their dependents and survivors, and other charitable organizations across Southern Nevada.
Every year, members of the Clark County Fire Department donate hours of their time when they are off the clock to help raise awareness and money for organizations across the Valley.
Every year, we also give scholarships to local youths to help them further their education.
